American Enterprise Institute – Colorado College Chapter presents Reform Conservative Lecture with Ramesh Ponnuru

The Colorado College chapter for the American Enterprise Institute is excited to announce that esteemed conservative intellectual Ramesh Ponnuru will be speaking on campus on Wednesday, February 27th.

Mr. Ponnuru is one of the preeminent young conservative thought-leaders of our time. A journalist, historian, political pundit, policy wonk, and activist, he is known as a crusader against abortion, a leader of the “reform conservative movement,” and an outspoken advocate for limited government and increased individual freedom, autonomy and dignity. He is a senior editor at National Review, a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion, and a visiting fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Newsday, and The New York Post.

At Colorado College, Mr. Ponnuru will speak about his vision of conservatism’s future, the current political climate in America, and the upcoming 2020 presidential election. There will be time after his speech for Q&A.

The event is open to the public, and we warmly encourage you to attend. Mr. Ponnuru’s speech will begin at 7 P.M. in the Gates Common Room, located in Palmer Hall. The event is expected to run for about an hour and a half.
