Official Call for the El Paso County Republican Central Committee
January 20, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Pursuant to the Colorado Revised Statutes Section 1-4-601 and pursuant to El Paso County Republican Central Committee Bylaws Article IV, Section 4.01 and Article III, Section 3.02, notice is hereby given that the El Paso County Republican Central Committee will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Coronado High School, 1590 W. Fillmore St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 for the following purposes:

1.      Approval of delegate/alternate allocation for the El Paso County Republican Convention, as required by CRS 1-4-602.

2.      Presentation of the allocation of delegates to the State Convention, 5th Congressional District Assembly, Judicial District Assembly, and Senate District 2 Multi-County Assembly pursuant to the El Paso County Republican Central Committee Standing Rule.

3.      The drawing of alternate rankings for higher assemblies by Division Leaders, pursuant to the El Paso County Republican Central Committee Standing Rule.

4.      Consideration of proposed changes to the El Paso County Republican Central Committee Bylaws. 

5.      Any other business that properly may come before this committee.

This is an Official Call for the following districts to meet January 20, 2018, at the same location as the Central Committee Meeting:  House Districts 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21; Senate Districts 2, 9, 10, 11, and 12; and County Commission Districts 1, 2, 3, 4,   and 5.

House District 17 and Senate District 9 and 2 will hold Vacancy Committees in their district meetings.

Precinct leaders from the following precincts will meet to elect a new division leader for the following vacant division leader positions:

a.                   House District 14, Division C: Precincts 220, 223, 224, 225 and 238.

b.                  House District 15, Division A: Precincts 401, 408, 420, 423, 445, and 454.

c.                   House District 16, Division C: Precincts 125, 138, 140, and 147.

d.                  House District 18, Division A: Precincts 742, 743, 744, and 745.

e.                   House District 18, Division B: Precincts 109, 110, 113, 119, and 133.

f.                   House District 18, Division F: Precincts 168, 170, 171, 176 and 177.

g.                  House District 19, Division J: Precincts 520, 651, 653, and 828.

h.                  House District 20, Division D: Precincts 103, 104, and 116.

i.                    House District 20, Division I: Precincts 602, 603, 604, and 606.

j.                    House District 21, Division B: Precincts 630 and 634.

All district meetings will occur after the County Central Committee Meeting in an order to be announced. Again, this is an Official Call for the following districts to meet January 20, 2018, at the same location as the Central Committee Meeting:  House Districts 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21; Senate Districts 2, 9, 10, 11, and 12; and County Commission Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Membership on the Central Committee is defined in Section 3.01 of the El Paso County Republican Central Committee Bylaws as follows:

 Section 3.01 Composition  All of the precinct leaders of the Republican Party of El Paso County, the Republican  county officers elected pursuant to Section 6.01 of these Bylaws, together with the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the State Senatorial and Representative Districts, and the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the County Commissioner Districts, the elected County Public Officials, the Bonus Members, the Division Leaders of the Representative Districts, the District Attorney, and any United States Senators and United States Representatives and elected State Public Officials, who are members of the Republican Party and who reside within El Paso County, shall constitute the membership of the El Paso County Republican Central Committee.  Multiple offices shall not entitle a person to more than one vote, excluding proxies. 

Bring your Call, Agenda, Bylaw changes, Allocation lists, and Proxy. NO ADDITIONAL PAPER COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED AT CHECK-IN OR DURING THE MEETING.
