On the evening of June 18, a room of 120 El Paso County residents and elected officials cheered as President Donald Trump kicked off his reelection campaign for President of the United States. With the soul of Colorado at stake, the 2020 campaign for President, U.S. Senate, and a myriad of state and local races will be the most imperative election in decades for Coloradans and those who call El Paso County home.
El Paso County GOP Chairman, Tamra Farah states, “As it has been historically, El Paso County is the key to counteract Denver and Boulder counties who say they speak for the other 62. Everyday Coloradans see the world around them and know that their quality of life is higher than it was before President Trump took office.”
The El Paso County Republican Party has already enacted a data-driven and technology-based turnout model to increase already historically high voter participation. Republicans, unaffiliated voters, and Democrats alike can be sure that the El Paso County Republican Party will continue to cut through the partisan demagoguery surrounding our current political system and show people how President Trump, Sen. Cory Gardner, and other Republican leaders have led us to the strongest economic, globally secure, and self-reliant position in the history of the United States.
To those who can see past the talking heads on cable news, these truths are self-evident. The 120 people packed into a small room to celebrate our nation last night is the beginning of what will be our finest hour, not as Republicans, but as Americans.
